Converted from a 1930’s bank to a multifamily community, The Douglas was unique in scope, design and delivery. Drawing inspiration from the history of the building and its contribution to the city of Wichita allowed an opportunity to add a new chapter to this building’s unique story. The hands on approach, creativity and execution made the interiors feel new with a pleasant ode to the location’s colorful past. As part of a $66 million revitalization and historic preservation project, The Douglas is one piece of a larger apartment boom in Wichita.
