The Jolly Roger

Greenville, NC

Located 1 mile from downtown Greenville, North Carolina sits the Jolly Roger – a new and exciting mixed-use, off-campus student housing community serving East Carolina University (ECU), Pitt Community College, and Shaw University.

This 400,000-square foot wrap building boasts 7 stories of light gauge steel framing and a 700-space parking deck. Each corner of the residential floors will have an amenity area and a student union area underneath it, so the corner of the building will be seven stories while the majority of the living area will be six stories.

Since students desire a bikeable and walkable community, the strategically placed Jolly Roger is a convenient 5 minutes to campus and 5 minutes to the athletic facilities.

A strong, sought-after amenities packaging includes Greenville, North Carolina’s first rooftop pool, a Jumbotron theater, and stadium viewing deck, and pet park with marquis lights. Inside, student will enjoy a two-story fitness room with outdoor fitness and yoga studio, a podcast room, and game room with pool tables.

The Jolly Roger is also a sustainable community with reduced GHG emissions, diverting waste from landfill, and reducing resource consumption.
Construction is slated to end in time for the fall semester to start by August 2021.
