Begonia Place is Temple City, California’s newest mixed-use apartment community, with 2 and 3-bedroom units and 19 multi-level penthouses. Resident amenities include a full-service professional kitchen with floating island and nook seating, private conference room, state-of-the-art fitness center, and over 11,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

This 4-story mezzanine project draws inspiration from the symbolic Begonia flower from Chinese culture, thought to symbolize individuality and harmony in communication. HPAD’s design nods to these references, with unexpected materials and exuberant shapes playing homage to the Begonia’s petal forms, creating a composed, rhythmic experience.

This project also represents HPAD’s immersive logo and brand development, along with comprehensive community signage & and placemaking.
