Her 17-plus years of industry experience, combined with her design expertise and business acumen allows her to successfully lead as President, where she shepherds the firm soundly into the future.

Chelsea expertly manages three national offices, continues to build strong client relationships, tracks project financial performance, and ensures every project is completed on time and within budget.

Karen Stillwagon

Karen Stillwagon

Vice President of Interior Architecture & Director of Central US

A graduate of Texas A&M University, with a bachelor’s degree in environmental design, Karen began her career track as an architectural designer and is now leading our innovative teams nationwide, from concept to completion, as the Vice President of Interior Architecture.

With over 20 years of experience in the interior design industry, Karen’s well-respected background in multifamily, boutique hospitality, and student housing enriches her role of interior architectural oversight, quality control, and creative thought leadership.

Lindsey Nation

Lindsey Nation

Senior Director, West Coast

Lindsey brings over 17 years of experience in multifamily design, from market-rate to workforce housing, in addition to senior living and student housing design expertise.

Lindsey leads the California studio, and oversees strategic planning, client relations, and is instrumental in guiding the design team to success on each unique engagement.

Her comprehensive skills in conceptual planning, construction documentation, design administration, and the turn-key furnishings process allow Lindsey to mentor, lead by example, and blaze trails for our West Coast presence.

Director, East Coast

Virtue is a licensed interior designer with over 13 years of experience in interior architecture, design, and construction methodology. With exceptional client-facing communication skills, she ensures every decision-maker has a seamless experience from start to finish.

Leading with her considerable proficiency in all phases of the design process; Virtue expertly directs a team of designers while driving operational efficiency and cultivating a culture of collaboration.

Virtue skillfully manages project schedules, budgets, and design deliverables of the Orlando studio’s multidisciplinary team members, while leading HPAD’s East Coast presence.

Director of Administration

As Director of Administration, Louise adeptly oversees the management of administrative staff, guiding operational methods, monitoring budgets, executing accounting systems, and analyzing financial data.
